Academy of Training is pleased to announce the launch of its virtual learning environment (VLE). Academy is one of only a few, independent training providers nationally, that offers learners both e-portfolios and support via a VLE. Together they will provide you with the ability to move through your programme at a speed and time convenient to you, as you will now have support 24/7. You can also contact any of your trainers / assessors via email, through your e-portfolio or via the company email system. This support is in addition to the free book or tool apprentices receive at the start of their programme, which we hope will be available to non-apprentices in the near future.

The VLE site is new and we are still developing material and video support, however we are now at the stage where we wish to know what you think of the material so far. Each section will ask you a few questions after you have used it. This will help us continue to develop the site to suit your needs.

We know that all learners value the personal touch provided when staff visit. I would like to assure you that these visits will continue. The VLE is for support and we do not plan to change our delivery to ‘distance learning’.
